The handmade ceramic washbasin can be made in porcelain or stoneware, depending on the client's preference. The finish is also variable. It could be a washbasin in white porcelain, or, for example, I designed and created washbasins in black stoneware for an architectural firm.
custom made interior design
For various clients, I design and create interior objects from porcelain. This means that my commissions are highly diverse, ranging from light fixtures to washbasins. They are always custom-made, ensuring that each piece is unique and can be designed specifically for the client and the location. The commissions can vary in the type of object, material, or design. Sometimes, a completely new shape needs to be created, while other times, it involves developing a unique glaze or adding a personal logo.

Vanwege het unieke karakter van vrijwel al mijn opdrachten, ontvang ik klanten bij voorkeur persoonlijk in mijn studio. Hier krijgt elke klant de volle aandacht en tijd die nodig is. Deze persoonlijke benadering helpt om de wensen van de klant helder te krijgen. Bovendien zorgt de creatieve setting van mijn studio, waar onder andere een handgemaakte waskom van keramiek te bewonderen is voor veel inspiratie. Naast een breed scala aan materialen, zijn er ook voorbeelden van andere opdrachten en lopende collecties aanwezig. Dit biedt niet alleen een goed overzicht van de mogelijkheden, maar stimuleert ook het ontstaan van nieuwe ideeën.

A client can be looking for a completely new item, ranging from a soy pitcher ,Delft Blue plate to a gift box in Limeted Edition. The process typically begins with a brainstorming session in my studio. Here, I have all possible examples, materials, and previous commissions at hand to brainstorm together and clarify the client's request. Based on this input, I develop several proposals and create a prototype. Afterward, the final design is established, and I proceed with crafting the objects, including any packaging options and other marketing aspects.
