Ceramic promotional gifts
custom made
Because I am in charge of making a ceramic promotional gift from start to finish, a lot of special things are possible. I regularly design and make special promotional gifts. This can vary from existing items from the collection to a complete product development process.
Business gifts
The assignments vary in type of item as well as in material or design. Sometimes a completely new shape has to be designed. But it can also involve a unique glaze or the application of a personal logo.
Example Customization: Restaurant Taiko, Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam
For restaurant Taiko I designed a unique pitcher in the Conservatorium Hotel Amsterdam. This pitcher had to combine various elements: Japanese tradition, the origins of the Dutch chef (Schilo van Coevorden), and the Asian ingredient soy. Based on these ingredients, I designed a pitcher in a sober shape, inspired by a chemical Erlenmeyer flask. The Delft Blue pattern refers to Dutch history, while the porcelain version with oxide blue pattern honors both Asian and Dutch tradition. All items are handmade and each pitcher has a unique Delft Blue pattern.
Example Promotional Gift Program: CSK FoodEnrichment
In collaboration with the internationally operating company CSK Food Enrichment, I have developed a whole set of different gifts for the festive opening of the new building. The customer was looking for a suitable ceramic promotional gift on the occasion of the opening of the new laboratory where, among other things, cultures for the cheese industry are produced.
appealing gift for international relations
The complicated question for them was what makes an appealing ceramic promotional gift for international relations, with such an abstract product. My Delft Blue porcelain turned out to fit perfectly with the cheese theme and the Dutch origins of the company. I made various sizes of Delft blue plates for them (with their logo in relief in the plate), advised on the packaging, a photo shoot with employees in my studio, from which a calendar for employees was subsequently made.
Complete Dutch Giftbox
I developed a Dutch tea box for an internationally operating machine company. This company, with roots in the Netherlands, was looking for a special and recognizable Dutch promotional gift made of ceramics for their international customers. I designed a box inspired by a cigar box, but filled with tea and Delft Blue porcelain cups. The box was given a modern twist by being made of high-gloss orange cedar wood, which created both a modern and Dutch appearance. A special booklet and packaging Made to ship the box safely.
unique character
Everything I design and create in my studio is made to order. Each ceramic gift is custom-made, meaning that every design is one of a kind. For most commissions, I incorporate a personal inscription for the client into the gift. This makes each item that leaves the studio truly unique.
inscription
An personal incription makes a corporate gift truly special. An inscription forever connects the ceramics to the company or the occasion for which it was created. This could be a company logo or even the date of an opening or anniversary. The personal element sets this gift apart from others that often gather dust in a corner. Ceramics are enduring pieces, cherished by clients who will gladly keep them.
Personal welcome in the studio
Because almost all commissions have a unique character, I prefer to welcome clients in my studio .This personal approach helps to clearly understand the client's wishes. The creative setting of my studio is inspiring, with various materials and examples of other projects or ongoing collections.
proces
The client may be looking for a completely new item, such as a soy pitcher, a unique gift box, or a Delft Blue cheese board. The process typically starts with a brainstorming session in my studio, where all possible examples and materials are available. Based on the client's request, I come up with several proposals and create a prototype. From there, the final design is developed, followed by the crafting of the objects, including any packaging options of andere marketing.
