Jade Tableware
This series of Jade porcelain tableware has a subtle light green color. Because the basic material porcelain has a bright white color, it combines beautifully with the natural oxides in the glaze. For this series I colored the porcelain with a small amount of green. The subtle color emphasizes the elegant appearance of the porcelain. This is further enhanced by the finish with 24 carat gold.
Elegant
Porcelain forms the basis for most objects I make. Porcelain is a beautiful and elegant material. Because it is fired at a high temperature (about 1250 degrees), it is many times stronger than, for example, earthenware and therefore much more durable. It will therefore not damage as quickly as earthenware, which is much more porous. In addition, it can also be processed much thinner, which gives the porcelain an elegant appearance.
Perfect marriage: gold + jade green
The combination of the light green porcelain with 24 carat gold is reminiscent of a chic French chocolate shop. The gold is applied by hand. Because everything is custom-made, the decoration in gold can also be discussed according to your wishes. For example, a sleek gold edge has a modern look compared to a looser artistic touch.
