Much of Roman glass has spent centuries buried in the earth, where it has weathered and developed breathtaking effects with a pearlescent shimmer. After extensive research into glazes, I have created a unique glaze that captures this mother-of-pearl effect. The colors dance between silver and soft gold, with delicate pinkish pearlescent tones and the occasional hint of blue—a subtle homage to the timeless beauty of ancient craftsmanship.
