What a beautiful project that was: choosing Es ceramics!
We had specific ideas about shapes, dimensions, and colors for the tableware we envisioned. A visit to Esther's studio immediately inspired us to stray from our original plan and embrace the blue-and-gold combination with a subtle touch of pink. Thoughtful conversations with Esther figuratively shaped the collection and, ultimately, brought it to life.
Once realized, it truly shows what a beautiful collection we have created. The plates, bowls, and dishes make any meal instantly festive and artistic. Everything was delivered at home in a stylish, super-secure package, too.
All that's left is to cook, bake and party...

Each year, we strive to surprise our customers with a gift that is close to our heart and our work. This time, with the official opening of our new studio, it felt like the perfect moment to do something truly special.
In our search for the perfect gift, we came across the work of Esther van der Sluis. We were inspired by her passion for design and creation. The unique, handmade design appealed to us, as did the artisanal process behind it. We started a conversation with her and chose a ceramic Delft Blue plate as our gift.
Accompanying this, we created a booklet that illustrates the process behind the work, connecting it to our own way of creating and our shared values.

We found the collaboration to be an absolute pleasure. We were warmly welcomed into her home and studio, and after this day, we maintained ongoing communication about the progress and delivery of the gifts.

She creates ceramic works where her vision, the choice of materials, and the meticulous care in the creative process come together to form refined pieces.
Esther is also able to create bespoke works on commission. As a creator of high-quality coffee, tea, and cigars, I asked Esther to design a gift packaging with the central idea: quality of Dutch craftsmanship. Esther translated this concept into a beautifully realized project.
The outcome of this project demonstrates that Esther is more than just an artist. Throughout the process, she showcased her talents as an inspirator and her knowledge of organization. It was a wonderful project that beautifully merged art and quality.
The result: an orange wooden box containing coffee, tea, cigars, and the cups crafted by ES.
